The Person

Tretau is a technology company working at the heart of the energy transition, committed to decarbonising energy and electrify ing transport options. Its patented technologies combine the need for sustainable, resource-efficient production with the power, reliability and performance required by electric vehicles and machinery. This makes it possible to manufacture smaller, more durable, more environmentally -friendly and more powerful motors, transformers and generators. Tretau's focus is on protective coatings for high-performance copper, aluminium, and steel wires with a low environmental impact.

Main responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, and monitor wire drawing, coating, and rolling machines according to production schedules.

  • Adjust machine settings including speed, tension, temperature, alignment, and pressure to meet product specifications.

  • Load raw materials into machines and ensure proper material feeding.

  • Monitor wire diameter, coating thickness, surface finish, and dimensional accuracy during production.

  • Perform quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and testing equipment.

  • Record production output, downtime, scrap rates, and quality results accurately.

  • Follow Tau Wire USA Corp and OSHA safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

  • Support continuous improvement and meet daily production targets.

Requirements
  • Flexibility

  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods

  • Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred

  • Experience operating wire drawing, coating, rolling, or similar manufacturing equipment preferred


Education


High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
